Valentina's Purple Basket
When we share what we have, even a little becomes enough for everyone.
Valentina made cookies with her own hands. She put them in her purple basket. Today she would share them at the park!
Valentina walked to the park. Mia trotted beside her. The purple basket swung gently in Valentina's hand.
«I brought cookies to share!» Valentina called. Two friends ran over. They sat on the blanket together.
Valentina opened her basket. She counted six cookies. «Enough for everyone!» she said happily.
Then three more children came running. «Can we have cookies too?» they asked. Valentina looked at her basket.
Six cookies for five friends now. Valentina felt worried. Would there be enough?
Mia licked Valentina's hand softly. Valentina smiled. «We can break them and share,» she said.
Valentina broke each cookie carefully in half. Now there were twelve pieces! «Plenty for everyone,» she laughed.
Every friend got cookie pieces. They all munched happily together. Mia got a tiny treat too!
«Thank you for sharing, Valentina!» her friends said. Valentina's heart felt warm and full.
«Sharing made everyone happy,» Valentina said. Mia barked in agreement. The purple basket felt lighter than ever.
Like the boy who shared his loaves and fishes, Valentina learned something special. A little bit shared becomes more than enough.
