J.'s Blue Blanket for Baby

Love grows bigger when we share it with someone new.

J. holds Teddy tight on the big blue chair.

M. says, «The baby comes home today!»

J. looks at his soft blue blanket on his bed.

He asks Teddy, «Will the baby like me?»

D. says, «Babies love big brothers who are kind.»

J. picks up his blue blanket, soft and warm.

He whispers, «Maybe baby needs this more than me.»

M. brings the baby, tiny and new.

J. covers baby with his blue blanket, very gentle.

Now J. is a big brother, and his heart is full.
