» s'exclame-t-iel.

It's the first day of spring, and Leana finds a packet of seeds in the garage. "We could plant a garden!" they exclaim. The four siblings gather around, eyes shining bright. Honey the puppy bounces happily around them.

In the backyard, they dig and turn the soft black earth. Elsa traces straight lines with a stick. Daphnée reads the instructions on the packet. "We need to plant the seeds and water them," says Cyrielle, holding the starry watering can.

Leana places each seed carefully in the warm soil. "When will they grow?" they ask. "We have to wait," Daphnée answers gently. But Leana wants to see the flowers right away.

The next morning, Leana rushes outside. But the soil is empty and brown. "Maybe I forgot something," they whisper. Honey scratches at the earth with a tiny paw. "No, no!" says Cyrielle, laughing. "The seeds are there, sleeping."

Every day, Leana waters the garden with the starry can. Every day, they look. "Nothing yet," they sigh. Elsa sits down beside them. "The seeds are working underground. We can't see them, but they're growing."

A week passes. Leana begins to understand. "Waiting is hard," they tell Honey. The puppy rests its head on Leana's knee. Daphnée brings a book about plants. "Look, the roots grow first. It takes time."

Un matin, Cyrielle crie : « Leana, viens voir ! » De minuscules pousses vertes percent la terre ! Leana saute de joie. « Elles sont là ! Elles sont vraiment là ! » Honey court en cercles, sa clochette tintant.

One morning, Cyrielle calls out, "Leana, come see!" Tiny green shoots push through the soil! Leana jumps with joy. "They're here! They're really here!" Honey runs in circles, bell jingling.

In the following days, the shoots grow taller. Leaves unfold. Leana waters carefully each morning. "I know we still have to wait for flowers," they tell Elsa. "But now, I love watching the changes."

At last, on a golden morning, buds appear. Then the first flowers open—yellow and pink and purple! The four siblings kneel together. "We waited," says Leana softly, "and look how beautiful it is." Honey wags his tail. The garden glows in the sunshine.

Every day, the garden grows more beautiful. Leana has learned that the most wonderful things take time to grow. With their siblings and their little dog, they water, they wait, and they watch the wonders bloom.
